Trauma-informed art offers another way to begin.
Through color, texture, imagery, movement, and the creative process, you are given a safe and compassionate space to express what may be difficult to put into words. You do not need to be an artist. There is no pressure to create something beautiful or perfect.
The purpose is not artistic performance.
The purpose is healing, connection, and compassionate curiosity.
